Protein Pancakes

Summer is on the way. Some of us want that all-important beach body; others trying to lose a few pounds before it becomes unbearably humid in the UK.

One of the easiest things to make to assist you in this are these¬†pancakes. They will taste a great deal nicer than the ones made with the whey protein powder. The method is quick and simple, and the added bonus is they’re very versatile. You can try all sorts of combinations with fruits, nuts; the possibilities are endless!

Here’s to starting your day with a healthy breakfast!


  • 200g Amaranth Flour
  • 1 Banana
  • 30g Raspberries
  • 300ml Coconut Milk
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Stevia
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1-2 tbsp Chia Seeds


  • Raspberries
  • Bananas
  • Hemp seeds
  • Date syrup

Makes 4-6 pancakes

Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes


  1. Mix all ingredients together until you get a sort of batter.
  2. Place in a pan on medium heat till brown. Repeat several times until you have made enough.
