Several weeks ago I was dining in a place called Circo Lounge in Westbourne, whereupon my friend Ellie ordered this cocktail – the Cherry Bakewell. Who would have imagined that such a traditional dessert would also inspire a very delicious drink counterpart? As much as I love a Cherry Bakewell Tart, I’d happily settle for this cocktail instead.
Measurements are 25ml per ingredient or multiples thereof (subject to taste) unless stated otherwise
- 1 measure White Rum
- 2 measures Amaretto/Disaronno
- Cherry Juice
Simply shake all the ingredients together and serve over ice in a straight glass (Collins-style).
